Sell Avon – Ignite Beauty Team Welcome

Hello Avon Beauty Boss.  Welcome to the Ignite Beauty Sales team.  I am Monica Brown your Avon mentor and want to help you ignite your business.  I am here to get your Avon business started off on the right foot and do everything I can to help you grow your sales along with building your own team should you choose to do so.

I  regularly send out e-mails with tips and texts on occasion to check in with you to see how you are doing and if you are needing help.  If you are NOT receiving my e-mails be sure to put your correct e-mail address in your profile on youravon.com portal.

It is important that you respond so that I know that you are receiving these texts and e-mails that way I can know how you are doing and if we need to have a one-on-one phone conversation. Your time is valuable and life can be hectic; therefore, I prefer to text before calling to make sure when a good time is for you to chat.

Let’s Get Started with Important First Steps:

  • You will receive an e-mail from Betty Palm, Avon’s Social Selling President for new LLC.  This e-mail is going to get you started with setting up your online eStore and more.
  • Learn about Avon’s current incentive Kickstart Program.  This bonus  is available to ALL NEW AVON REPRESENTATIVES.  Your first order will be at the 40% earnings level no matter what the amount is;  however, I highly recommend making our FIRST GOAL of selling $150 for your first Avon campaign. This is an achievable goal and I know you can do it.  Meet all of the kickstart goals and you will recieve a gift from me!! Learn more about the Kick Start and earn $1,000 in 90 days.

  • Setting up your Avon Estore:  Watch video
  • Social online selling is a key to growing your Avon business online and you will want to utilize as many social media platforms as you can.  Be sure if you don’t have the following to set them up right away.
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • Linkdin
    • Pinterest
  • Once you have Facebook set up be sure to create a business page and group.  This is where you will invite all of your facebook friends and family to let them know that you just started your Avon business and are excited to share it with them.
  • The Avon Daily Care Bundle is just for New Ind. Avon Representatives.  Utilize this within your first 7 campaigns and start earning towards your Kickstart goals.
  • Share Avon’s discount code with everyone to help create an Avon customer base.  People will be excited to shop with you when they know they can save on their first shopping trip.
    • WELCOME10 at the checkout will give your customers 10% off their order of any size.  A one time use.
  • Let everyone know that they can get FREE shipping with their order of $40 or more everytime they shop with you online with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii – they will still need to pay surcharges and taxes that apply.

  • If you are able – plan a day that you can have a grand opening party to your NEW Avon business after your kit arrives.

Important info: 

Campaign Schedule: Your campaign schedule is based on your location within the United States. You are within an RPS schedule that determines when your orders are due. Go to Key Campaign dates to see when your order is due.
You can also go to account – profile – Scroll down a little and you will see mailplan. Click on see calendar. You can print this calendar off or visit it anytime.

Direct Deposit: Scroll down a little further and you will see that you can set up your direct deposit and more. Be sure to go to your bank and set up an Avon account for your Avon business.

Commission Chart: Commission percentage is based on your order sales. This chart can be found in yourAvon.com under earning opportunities – earnings chart.  Note: your face to face and online sales will be calculated together to give
you your total. Check out HOT POINTS to learn how to increase your earnings.

Avon catalogs/brochures: Avon Brochures are essential to your Avon business. They are your store. You will receive catalogs with your kit but will need to purchase them for future campaigns.  You can order catalogs under sales tools. These come in packs of ten and the more you purchase, the less they cost.

How do you get paid: When you have a customer who places an order from you, you will collect the payment for the total amount due. If there is sales tax where you live you will want to add it to the sale. Also, if you live in Hawaii or Alaska where there is a 15% shipping fee; you will want to add that as well. I also recommend adding a 75 cent to $1 processing fee. This will help cover your other business costs. This is of course up to you.
When you place your order, Avon will charge you for the cost of the products as well as the sales tax and shipping costs and any tools you have purchased. If there is a sales tax in your area Avon will pay your sales tax. You will not need to set up a separate business account or obtain a business license. The amount left over from customer payment is your profit.

Recommendation: If you are able – you may want to get a cash back credit card for your Avon purchases ONLY!!  This will allow you to earn cash back on all of your Avon purchases.  Be sure that you have the money in your bank account you set up to pay your credit card in full when it comes due.  This will also help keep track of year end tax expenditures.
