Avon Scholarship Program

The Avon Scholarship Program is just another reason to sell Avon.  Avon has a scholarship program for their representatives and if you are in President’s club your children and grandchildren that meet the criteria can qualify for a scholarship.  How amazing is that?

The Details for Avon Reps:

This scholarship program has been established by the Avon Foundation for Avon Representatives.  Avon appreciates your commitment to the company and hopes that this scholarship will enable you to grow with us.

This scholarship is designed to assist Avon Representatives who are enrolled, or plan to enroll, in an undergraduate or graduate course of study leading to a degree in a field that allows Representatives to advance their careers.  Avon understands it is important for all our Representatives to have the opportunity to continue their education and that this can help lead the way to future economic advancement.

The Avon Scholarship Program for Representatives is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin. All aspects of the selection are handled by Scholarship America.

Eligibility

Applicants to the Avon Representative Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be Avon Representatives who are at least 18 years of age, located in the United States and in good standing throughout the verification process.
  • Be high school graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study leading to a degree or certificate at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States.
  • Applicants must be enrolled for the entire 2017-18 academic year.

This program is not open to children or grandchildren of Avon Representatives.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, scholarship awards of either $2,000 or $4,000 each will be granted. The $2,000 awards are for students attending an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school on a part-time (less than 12 credits/term) basis. The $4,000 awards are for students attending an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school on a full-time (12 or more credits/term) basis. Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year. A student may receive a maximum total of four (4) awards.

Awards are intended for use in the 2017-18 school year.

Current Program Deadline

Your application must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (Central Standard Time) on March 15, 2017.  Representatives may reapply to the program each year.

 Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Academic and non-academic criteria are evaluated equally. Financial need is not considered.

Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America. In no instance does any officer or employee of New Avon LLC or the Avon Foundation play a part in the selection. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

When selected to be a recipient, the Representative must be in good standing throughout the verification process.

All applicants will be notified of their status by the end of May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Representatives may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Payment of Scholarships

Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Avon Foundation. Payment is made in one installment on August 1. Checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address and are made payable to the school for the student.

Obligations

Recipients have no obligation to the Avon Foundation. They are, however, required to notify Scholarship America of any changes in address, school enrollment, or other relevant information and to send a complete transcript when requested.

Revisions

Avon Foundation reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.

Terms and Conditions

Avon always reserves the right to audit all performance data when determining Incentive Reward eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify or remove any Representative it determines has violated principles of fairness or program intent.
